What is it?

CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. This means that you learn a foreign language through the medium of a subject such as geography, history, physics, maths and others,  and/or you are learning relevant contents through the medium of a foreign language. Content and Language supports eachother to help you learning more effectively.

Why his approach?

Because it’s more hands-on hence motivating. Because the study of relevant contents close to your world, your daily life and interests can support the learning of a foreign language and viceversa. Because with CLIL you are more exposed to the language you are learning and because…. it’s more fun!
